About Fjällboheden

Fjällboheden wind farm is located about 45 km Northwest of Skellefteå. Fu-Gen, together with Abraxas Capital Management, acquired the project rights from Engie in spring 2019. Soon after, Fu-Gen finished the procurement, the detailed design and kicked off construction.

The 10 turbines are now producing 165 GWh per year.

Fu-Gen is investigating the possibility of expanding the Fjällboheden wind farm into an energy park with up to nine new wind turbines and battery storage. New, more efficient wind turbines would more than double the park’s electricity generation and make use of existing roads, power lines and transformer stations already in the area, thereby minimising the impact on the natural environment.

A mature, proven technology for cost-efficient power production. Fu-Gen is developing its own greenfield onshore wind pipeline, whilst also acquiring ready-to-build and operational assets to create a diversified project portfolio to continue advancing the renewable energy transition.

Continuous technological advancements have led to lower cost, better performing solar cells, creating an opportunity for the growth of solar in the Nordics. Fu-Gen is developing its own utility-scale greenfield solar projects.
