Fu-Gen has completed the acquisition of the Havsnäs wind farm in Strömsund municipality, Sweden. The wind farm, consisting of 47 turbines and a total installed capacity of 93.4 MW, accelerates the growth of Fu-Gen’s operational asset portfolio.
Fu-Gen’s second acquisition in as many weeks consolidates its operational onshore wind production capacity in Northern Sweden, with the wind farm having an average annual production of ca. 263 GWh since its start of commercial operation in 2010. The wind farm presents an interesting opportunity for Fu-Gen, with strong wind conditions and the future possibility of re-powering, who intend to integrate the asset into a growing cross-technology portfolio of wind, solar, battery and (hydrogen-based) e-fuels projects across the Nordics and the UK.
- “We are proud to introduce this historical asset into our portfolio, confirming Fu-Gen’s long-term commitment to Northern Sweden. The Havsnäs Project represents an important milestone achieved by Fu-Gen, bringing the total yearly production from assets in Sweden under construction and in operation to more than 800 GWh,” says Lorenzo Lanteri, Founder, Fu-Gen AG.
